Liza Smit is the Director of Operations & Accreditation at The Assessment Zone and brings over 10 years of experience in the business of training and development. She is a driven, hardworking professional who specializes in managing teams and building and maintaining stakeholder relationships with people from all walks of life. Liza is also a qualified assessor and moderator. She characterizes herself as a life-long student who enjoys being challenged and learning new skills. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her academic career; she earned a National Diploma in Public Relations Management (Cum Laude) from UNISA and was recognized with the award for top student in the College of Human Sciences.

Joe Meyer is the Director of Sales and Marketing at The Assessment Zone.
He is a highly skilled Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) specialist with 20 years of extensive experience across operational compliance, risk assessments, workplace wellness and accredited training. Joe is known for his sharp analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and his commitment to delivering practical, high-impact safety solutions to organisations across South Africa. As a qualified assessor and senior consultant, Joe works closely with clients in diverse industries including corporate, warehousing, automotive, medical, industrial and manufacturing environments. Eubert Zigori serves as Facilitator and Assessor for The Assessment Zone. He is a highly adaptable, agile and resilient professional whose 30 years of progression across varied environments have endowed him with essential 21st century skills. Eubert specializes in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) consulting & training. His expertise covers areas such as quality assurance, OHS Act compliance management, legal liability, first aid, fire fighting and hazard identification & risk assessment. Eubert is a registered assessor with the Transport Education Training Authority (TETA). He strives to set a positive pace and higher quality standards, demonstrating strong abilities in analysis, collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving. Eubert characterizes himself as a person with high initiative and self-direction who is always willing to learn.

Bryant Malimela serves as Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator for The Assessment Zone. Bryant is a hard worker and creative thinker dedicated to adding his skills and knowledge to an organization by making a difference and creating a good working environment. He strongly believes in applying good morals and investing into people, guided by the philosophy that 'No man is an island'. Bryant is a highly qualified professional with a Senior Teachers Diploma and he is a qualified assessor and moderator. His extensive background includes roles such as Training Manager and Skills Development Advisor. Bryant is a hard worker, always willing to learn and is always up for a challenge. At The Assessment Zone, Bryant facilitates and assesses across various fields, focusing mainly on lifting equipment and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

Amos Tshabalala serves as Facilitator and Assessor for The Assessment Zone. Amos is an experienced and versatile lifting machinery facilitator and assessor with over 15 years of experience in the training, logistics and health & safety industry. Amos has a proven track record in operating, training and assessing across a wide range of lifting equipment. He possesses a strong commitment to safety and regulatory adherence, specializing in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), risk assessment & hazard identification and lifting equipment compliance. He is a registered assessor with the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA). His professional development includes advanced studies in Health and Safety for Management, as well as specific training as a Facilitator, Assessor, Moderator and Incident Investigator.

Morné Auret currently heads The Assessment Zone's Port Elizabeth branch and also serves as a Facilitator and Assessor. He is a highly experienced professional with a comprehensive background in Fire and Emergency Services. Morné previously held roles such as Training Officer: Fire and Rescue and Acting Assistant Manager: Fire and Rescue. He is a highly qualified instructor and assessor, registered as an assessor with the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) and he also a qualified moderator. His expertise includes conducting daily theoretical and practical training in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Morné is proficient in complex emergency management, holding a Higher Certificate in Incident Management and has received specialized training such as the Basic Ambulance Assistant and Multiple levels of Fire Fighting Courses.

Ntombifuthi Nxumalo serves as Facilitator and Assessor for The Assessment Zone. She is an experienced assessor who has dedicated her career to training within the lifting and earth-moving machinery sectors. She holds an qssessor qualification and is a registered assessor with the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA). Ntombifuthi is responsible for training both public and private companies on a wide range of specialized equipment. Her comprehensive competency covers numerous lifting machines, including overhead cranes, mobile cranes, counter-balanced lift trucks, truck mounted cranes, cherry pickers, ariel devices, pedestrian stackers and rigging and slinging. Furthermore, Ntombifuthi is proficient in earth moving machines such as the excavators, skid steers, TLBs, front end loaders and concrete dumpers. She has worked as a freelance assessor for multiple training consultancies since 2014 and previously gained hands-on experience as a forklift operator from 1998 to 2006.

Nyasha Zigori is a young and energetic facilitator who brings passion and commitment to the team. He specializes in delivering essential Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Lifting Equipment courses, including First Aid, Fire Fighting, SHE Rep and Forklift training. Nyasha is recognized for his dedication to his work, ensuring everything is done with precision and attention to detail. He is always eager to learn new skills and embraces challenges to enhance his professional development.

Deon Landmann serves as a Facilitator for The Assessment Zone. He is an experienced facilitator who brings a comprehensive skill set to training and development. He specializes in delivering essential Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training, ensuring compliance and a strong focus on workplace well-being. Additionally, Deon is expert in providing valuable personal and business skills training. Drawing on his academic background in psychology, Deon is adept at providing impactful instruction that fosters effective communication, critical thinking and enhanced organizational effectiveness among participants.
